Your “Radio” really consists of two parts – the Transmitter in your hands, and the Receiver in your boat.
Let’s start at the Receiver. We all get excited about the transmitter, but the receiver his where it all “happens”.
Very popular at our Club is the Spektrum AR620 receiver.

This is a properly impressive bit of kit. Ceramic antenna so no dangly wires. There is a 4 channel model, but our club members in general are using this one. You will find the specs on the Spektrum website listed under “Air Receivers”.
That striped logo in the centre of the top acts as the pairing button. Binding the receiver to the transmitter is very easy and secure using this method. See the website menu tab for “Binding”
