Ratchets “on or off” is a matter of personal preference. If you started sailing using a Futaba, then you’ll miss your ratchet. On Spektrum you can switch it on and off. If you check the manual, you will see that you can adjust the ratchet from the front of the transmitter without taking the covers off. Nice.
